So many of the sneakers are adorable but are so heavy and have hard soles!

What are some good shoes for infants?

(And how on earth does the sizing work???)

I liked Pedipeds. DS didn't wear shoes indoors but I really liked them for when we were out. Before Pedipeds I used Robeez but my DS was chunky and they were tight around his ankles.

I have Robeez for DS. We have the 6-12 month size and they are a bit large on him right now, he's 8m.

i liked DS's Pedipeds...he needs a new pair though. he's ourgrown his. He has converse but they are flimsy and not supportive and cradling like the pedipeds are.

I'm another pedipeds fan! DD had them in every size.

The Pedipeds are cute! How do they run size-wise? XS (0-6 Months) is a large gap!

we bought baby converse. they are soft white leather with soft cotton soles. when he started standing/walking more, we bought stride rite sneakers.

None, actually. It is better for their developing feet to be barefoot. They don't need shoes, even soft one, until they start walking.

Ditto. My ped strongly advised against it until she was full time walking.
They may look cute and all- but they serve no purpose aren't good for their foot development.
