what are real estate broker fees like?
does anyone know? we are meeting with a real estate broker this week to discuss his fees for listing our co-op...is this normal?

Between 4% and 6%. With our first agent it was 4% and I got what I paid for basically which was nothing. The second time was 5% if another RE company brought the buyer and 4% if our agent found the buyer. The higher the commission usually means the more advertising they do.

Thank! do they work it in at the end so it doesnt feel like its coming out of pocket? Does that make sense?

Yes, at closing you will get check after everything you need/want is paid which includes the REA
