What are some fairly "new" movie theaters in LI?
Anyone know of any fairly new/renovated movie theaters in LI? I hate going to outdated movie theaters, with not so good seats.
Anyone know of anY?

Supposedly there is a huge one in holbrook or somewhre out east. I personally like the stadium seating at the farmingdale theatre on michael st. or something (near the golf range, NOT the home depot).,

Island 16 in Holbrook off lie. Comack movie theater is in the middle of a renovation they are turning it into an Island 16 movie theater, YAY

i love this theater too. stadium seats and not sticky to the floor are great. all the seats but the last row recline a bit back, only if you want it too. my fh and i only go to stadium 12, and this is a good 20 minute drive from us.

We only go to Island 16 now. I find all the other ones ie Regal, Movieland, United Artists, are all smelly and dirty.

Well we went to Westbury Stadium 12 and loved it!
Clean, good seats, stadium, etc. Thanks ladies! We have found our new theater of choice!

 there is no loews in the source mall. Do you mean roosevelt raceway.
The other night we went all the way out to farmingdale and it was really nie- with stadium seating... I think it WAS the once in dave and busters shopping center

Island 16 directors hall on opening night rocks. It guarantees you a seat in any movie that is playing. The only thing that sucks is that you cannot pick what seats you want. Everytime we have done it though we got good seats.
