What are some good books to get started?
While we're not there *yet*, I see adoption becoming more and more of a reality for us.
In preparation, I would like to educate myself on the world of adoption. Does anyone have any recommendations for good books on the process of adoption? TIA!

I read three books - two were pretty forgettable. The one I really like is "You Can Adopt." It's by editors (I think) of Adoptive Families.
http://www.adoptivefamilies.com/
It is really comprehensive and answered a ton of questions I had.
Good luck!

Most adoption agencies have a Q&A section and steps on how the adoption process goes.
It is a bit overwhelming, between domestic vs international. Adoption agencies vs private attorney. And a combination of all of it in some adoptions.
