what are some of the old wives' tales to predict gender?

I know of some of them, but we find out tomorrow and I wanted to read about some of them tonight just to have some fun with it!

one is you take your wedding ring and put it on a chain. You hold it above your belly. If it swings back and forth I think that means girl, and if it swings in a circle, i think it means boy (but i may have that mixed up) They were doing it to me during lunch at work the other day...

I heard too something like if the pulse is stronger in one arm its a girl, if its stronger in the other, its a boy...not sure which is which though...

My stepmom did this to me yesterday with a needle and thread. If it swings back and forth, it's a boy, and if it swings in a circle, it's a girl. According to this, we're having a Chat Icon !
We did it to my non-pregnant stepsister and the needle didn't move at all....
