I'm not so much concerned about embarassing stuff like that, but more of just that my baby will be OK. I'm worried about my baby mostly. With the GD and the NSTs and all, I just hope everything is okay inside.

Re: What are some of your biggest fears

Okay, so I do have a fear like that!

I'm afraid of my water breaking at work because I work in brooklyn and it's about an hour drive with no traffic to my hospital. And I DON'T want to deliver in Wycoff hospital. I want my hospital where people can come and visit me close by.

I'm afraid of pooing on the table for sure!
I worry about a c-section.
I also worry about being able to handle the pain, I am aiming for a drug free birth.

I was really afraid of pooping the table, but at the moment I was concentrating so hard on pushing that I wouldn't have noticed if I did. I don't think I did, but I really don't know. The nurse told me to push like I was going to the bathroom, so I bet it happens a lot.

TRUST ME...when the time comes and you are pushing you won't care at all if you poop on the table!!!! And chances are even if you do, you won't know it b/c they are constantly cleaning upChat Icon

Re: What are some of your biggest fears

I'm scared it's going to be a very long and painful labor because baby beer has decided to stay posterior. I'm also terrified of getting induced and ending up having a c-section, but it's something I have to come to terms with because with a posterior baby that's turning out to be fairly big, it's more likely Chat Icon

My G-d, so many fears!

I afraid of losing the baby- I think I will feel a lot better on Monday when I have my sonogram.
I am afraid of the baby not being healthy.
I am afraid of commuting at the end of my pregnancy.
I am afraid of labor.
I am afraid of not making it to the hospital.
I am afraid of DH not coming in time.
I am afraid of being alone when I go into labor.

But I have never let fears stopped me from doing anything, so I am sure it will all be OK!

Re: What are some of your biggest fears

Guess what ladies, unless you have an emema right befire you push, YOU"RE GONNA POOP ON THE TABLE!! It's impossible not to, it may just be a little but you will indeed poop. I pooped each time and really didn't care at the time, it's the smell that can be embarassing (TMI, sorry!!).

My fear was throwing up!!!

I am scared of not knowing where i will be when labor starts. And just the pain of contractions. Pooping i could care less about. I work in healthcare, in a hospital, and i've seen it all and smelled it all. Just getting my baby out will be my main concern!!:

These are my biggest fears.

But less important ......

I am petrified of labor and delivery, I can't even bring myself to read this chapter in my books.
