What are some quick and easy side dishes for our BBQ steak tonight?
I bought some skirt yesterday from the butcher and have it marinating. We are cooking it on the grill tonight. We eat dinner late (8ish) since we wait until our DS is in bed. What are some quick and easy side dishes that work well with a yummy steak?

couscous with some diced veggies. cthe couscous cooks in 5 minutes and you can throw anything in there with some dressing!
I am making it tonight with scallions, diced cherry tomatoes, cucumbers and yellow bell pepper with a lemon vinaigrette (I am making fish with it)
so easy and so refreshing!

How about a corn salsa? Or a three bean salad? I like to keep things fresh and light when I make steak.

Grilled Veg
Baked Potatoes (they take a bit but the prep is nominal so you can toss 'em on the grill and leave them!
Corn on The Cob
Tomato Mint Salad
Tomato Mozzarella Salad
Corn Salad
German Potato Salad

baked potato (microwave first, put in foil and grill to crisp... faster than just grilling/baking them)
mashed potatoes
grilled veggies - broccoli, mushrooms, asapragus, peppers, onion... one or all!
cous cous
salad
corn on the cob
