What are some signals/signs you will go into labor soon?
I feel very silly, as this is my second child. But with my first, all of a sudden I was having major contractions and went right to the hospital and gave birth fairly quickly. I don't know if I had signs all along and just didn't realize it.
I am just about 37 weeks pregnant, which I know is early but I keep feeling a really strong pressure in my underbelly and lower ("v-jayjay and butt). I almost feel like I have to poop but don't really have to. (Sorry for TMI) I can't remember if I had this with my first. Is this just normal close to the end of pregnancy feelings or is this signs I am going to go into labor soon?

What are some signals/signs you will go into labor soon?
I think that's normal, and I"m only going by what my BFFs have said. One of them said that for about 3-4 weeks before she gave birth she felt like she had a bowling ball between her legs. She gave birth at 39 weeks, so I'd guess that started around 34-35 weeks.

This is how I've been feeling past few days also, with some irregular contractions (some pretty painful) throughout the day. I'm also 37+ weeks, so will be good to see what others say to this that have gone through it

I had that feeling starting at around 37 weeks. Sometimes it would hurt so bad and I didn't know if had to poop or if the baby was coming hahah. I was never far from a bathroom. I went into actual labor at 41 weeks exactly. It didnt feel like the other poop/pressure thing. I woke up at 3am to bleeding and then it felt like every few minutes my lower spine was being twisted out of my back, last about a minute then repeat again. I gave birth about 28 hours after the bleeding and contractions started.

The day I went into labor, it felt like I was having stomach issues, but really they were contractions.

I am also 37 weeks and thinking about this. My first pregnancy, I was past due, not dilated at all and labor just suddenly started. I felt the pressure for weeks beforehand.
I wish I could think of some signals too...

This was me too. The very first sign I had was stomach pain, feeling like I ate too much (which I had ). Maybe 2-3 hours later I was having regular contractions.

I didn't have any signs at all. I never felt that bowling ball feeling. I just woke up one morning, went to the bathroom and had my bloody show. Then my water started slowly leaking. By the time I got to the hospital I was having regular contractions.
I'm pg with twins now. I'm only 29 weeks and I already feel a lot more pressure down there than I did with my first. I think it really just depends on the pregnancy.

The only sign i had is that i started to feel what felt like mild period cramping a few days before my water broke.

What are some signals/signs you will go into labor soon?
The day before I went into labor I felt like crap. I had bad cramps on and off all day. I was just done. I even called my job and told them I was starting my maternity leave the next day because I couldn't even move. The next morning contractions started.

Thanks!! I guess the pressure/bowling ball feeling is just normal end of pregnancy discomfort. I was hoping baby would come a little early.
