Ds is 11 1/2 weeks and he is smiling a lot now at people and spontaneously, no real laugh out loud yet.He follows me with his eyes around the room and he is trying to grab the toy that hangs form his portable swing.

My DS is 14 weeks today He has been smiling for a while and now he has started talking to his toys. He will spend ten minutes just babbling to them. He also swings his arms and hits his toys when he's on the playmat or in the bouncy seat. His arms are getting so strong, he can hold his head up and look around the room during tummy time and he rolled over for the second time this morning. We're thinking soon he'll get the hang of it and do it more consistently. Oh, and he just started to get interested in the dog. His eyes just follow her all around the room and when he's fussy it calms him down to watch her.
On the negative side of things he's figured out that he can let us know when he's not happy. He has this new way of shouting when he's tired of an activity or wants something. It can be frustrating but also pretty cute when he gets his mad face!
He's sleeping more consistently too. He pretty much does two five hour stretches. Much better than the every three hours he was doing up until last week.

DS is 11 weeks old. He is smiling and cooing a lot! When he's awake, he really wants to chat with people. He doesn't like to be alone with himself- if I leave his line of sight, he becomes upset. When he plays on his tummy, he can hold his head and chest up high. He's still not a fan of tummy time though and prefers to be on his back.
DS has been sleeping through the night now for the past couple weeks. He goes to bed around 9 pm and wakes up at 6 am. Occasionally, he'll go to bed at 8 pm and wake up at 4 am though.
He's taking in about 5 oz of BM and feeds every 3 hours. Because of his reflux, we're mixing in 2 tablespoons of rice cereal into his bottle and so far it's helped him immensely...the spit up has reduced a lot! The only downside is that we're using a new y-cut nipple for his thick feed and that makes him eat slower (30-45 mins per feeding). Sometimes he's not even sure how to suck with the new nipple and it's a trying time for the both of us. Other than that, he's a pretty happy baby!
Now if we can only get him to sleep in his crib once his reflux gets better

DD will be 15 weeks tomorrow and she is doing pretty much the same things. She has been letting out little laughs here and there but nothing too substantial until yesterday! She laughed like 5 times in a row. It was one of the best things I have ever heard in my life. She smiles all the time and tries to talk to you. She has been swatting at her hanging toys and you can tell will be pulling at them anyday now. She is awesome.

I just realized that Lauren and your DS have the same birthday! Lauren is smiling a lot now and she's been laughing a lot too. She's cooing and loves looking at her mobile. She's finally gotten to the point where she's content to be put down in her chair or on her gymini mat for a while and doesn't have to be held ALL the time! She's been sleeping through the night for a few weeks now! She's EBF and still eats pretty much every 2 hours during the day. She holds her head up pretty well too. We haven't really been doing tummy time or playing with much toys. I really should start! Poor 2nd baby!
