I havea couple from different places and I've seen them also called Wall ledges or Picture Ledges too.
Pottery Barn simply calls them wall shelves.

Yes, floating shelves. If you don't want to spend a lot of $$ on them, Kohls carries them I believe (with the "leveling" system).

I have these in white, brand new, in the box never used, if you want them you can have them
so sweet! thanks for the offer but DH wants them in black to match the espresso tables in the LR. you're too kind!
