what are u getting your 18 month olds?

out of curiosity, just wondering what all us summer 06 mommies are getting the kids this xmas...? i got hannah a couple things (one i already gave to her- it is a bubble maker that suctions to the bath tub wall- she LOVED it last nite)...i got her a purse that holds a little dog and cat from american girl....im getting her this other thing for the tub that is a little shower for kids (they press the button, and it comes out of the attached shower head)...my mom is getting her a sit and spin....what else is there?? she has got EVERY darn little people thing....i think she has all her art stuff that she would be into now....

what are yall getting?

My DS is 18 months and it's hard in a way bc I have 2 older kids so we have a lot of stuff already. He's getting those cardboard brick type building sets, I heard they are great and noiseless. Also a Diego knows your name phone, a small inflatable ball pit for indoors, bath toys (I might have the bubble one you are talking about - does it have the 2 handles? If so, its fabulous, all my kids love it).

I was going to get him that Elmo Giggling Garage but the reviews are awful. Vtech has a really cute toy out. It's their version of the Leap Frog fridge magnets and it has each letter in a fruit or veggie instead of just plain letters. I love the Fridge Magnets but this looked like a fun alternative.

Good God, I must have more things for him?? I have a closet full of holiday shopping in the basement.

I got Lauren a little ride on car; some big block legos; books; puzzles; a baby doll; and a big plahouse for the yard. Plus lots of clothes and hats and stuff.

Looking at my list, I feel like I got her nothing, but we have a gazillion toys here already, and no room for even more (just yet ).

that's all I've got so far. But that's enough. I may pick up some smaller stuff here and there. I had my eye on a musical tea set that looks cute!
