I'm nervous about going from a coordinator to a teacher in NYC doe. I'm nervous about not knowing my kids. I'm really excited to be back in the classroom.

Im excited to be back at work. I really do enjoy it.
I am very nervous about the Common Core, APPR, SLOs etc. Believe it or not even though I am the PE teacher we are expected to be doing all of this but every faculty meeting is spent speaking to and helping the K-5 classroom teacher so I have NO idea what I am going to need to do differently in September. I would like to get started but am a bit confused.

I'm excited because I will have a classroom that was redone with new technology! (fingers crossed the plan didn't change)

I'm excited about being able to shower in the morning before anyone else wakes up so my 5 year old daughter doesn't try to watch me shower like she does over the summer.....
I'm nervous about APPR...

Excited about new kids and seeing my fave colleagues...
Nervous about what I'm going to be doing (I'm going out on maternity leave in October....so not sure if they're giving me a classroom or not)

I'm excited because for the first time in 8 years I will have a new prep.
I am nervous because for the first time in 8 years I will have a new prep.
We also have a new principal and a lot of staff left through either their own volition or by excessing so it will be a different place.
