What are you getting DH for father's day
I know we have time but I want to plan ahead (Im sure DH hasnt even thought about mother's day yet)
I have an idea of what I want to get but might be pricey so im just curious what people bough there DH for their 1st father's day.

DD was born June 20th so DH wanted something we could enjoy in our backyard, since we were going to be spending a lot of our summer at home. I bought him the Rock Speakers and receiver so we could play music outside.

for his first Fathers Day I got him a card and some coupons for a massage, a night out with the guys ect... My DH s into things that cost $$ car/truck/ATV stuff.... This year I am gonna get him a new Grill but I think I want it more than he does

This is very true.. im bad though my DH always gets better bday gifts and parties bc i like seeing him happy to bad he forgets about making me happy. I am still waiting for my push presents and DS is 4 months!

god only knows. His bday is a week away and I still have no clue what to get him. :(
Father's day is even harder.
Hopefully by then we'll be in our new house and Mabye I'll get him a nice grill. God knows how, but I'll try.

First mother's day - I bought myself a necklace that I wanted that I knew DH wasn't going to get me. I gave it to my mom, she gave it to me from DS.
No idea what DH got for fathers day
2nd Mothers day - DH and I were splitting up - he ordered something for me before the split - and tossed it at me and said, "I guess I have to give you this" -- never wore it (it was a bracelet)
I couldn't do that to him so for fathers day DS bought him some sand toys/pails for the beach since he takes him a lot.

Money towards a tattoo. We are expecting #2 the end of July. For our DD, he had her handprint done on his shoulder with the sun surrounding it. It's gorgeous, so I'd like to give him the money to put something to show our 2nd.

I have no idea. Guaranteed it wont be as nice or creative as what DH will get me from DS for Mother's Day. Even if it's the simplest, most inexpensive thing, DH always gives great gifts.
That's assuming we're doing "gifts". A simple card and a day with them will be good enough for me.
