What are you getting your 1.5-2 year old for Christmas ?

I am pretty much at a loss. He plays with all ds1 toys and he has no Interest in tv or tv shows. He is 17 months now and need some more ideas. So far I have bought him 3 things.

What are you getting your 1.5-2 year old for Christmas ?

DS is also 17 months, 19 months for Christmas. All we have so far is the FAO schwartz big floor piano, the yo gabba gabba dj lance boombox, and the laurie berkner christmas album. I am thinking of putting an easel and a sled on his list, haven't thought of what else yet.

DD will be 16 months at Christmas. I plan to get her:

Fisher Price Little People Zoo Talkers Animal Sounds Zoo



And then some extra animals for her stocking.

Also a giant Pooh plush cause she is loving Pooh Bear

And a bunch of Matthew Van Fleet books. She is loving Alphabet and Tails, so I figured a few more for her library, and maybe some Christmas themed books if I can find them

Ds1 has an easel already and he has the little people zoo from his birthday
I just spent a whole bunch on new books for them to change up our book line up.
This is just a hard age

My DC will be 2 in Dec. I am getting them a large pay kitchen, PB anywhere chairs, table and chair set, play food so far

My DS will be 19 months at Christmas. So far we've gotten him a bunch of musical instruments (tambourine, rythym sticks, cymbals, xylophone etc.) because he is obsessed with music.

We also got him some new books, and a replica NYC taxi cab b/c we used to live in Manhattan.

We are also looking for some kind of indoor play tent or tunnel.

it is so much harder with #2 especially when they are the same gender.

I have little to no clue what to get DS2. Like you said he plays with all his brothers things and his older brother has EVERYTHING so I dont know.

I am going to get them a joint gift of dual dvd players for the car. Maybe a bounce house. For DS2 I know I am getting a little piano (we have other keyboard type ones but I like the little piano I saw at TRU)

Leapfrog has some cute new stuff too that my MIL already got him. I am avoiding thinking about what to get him because I KNOW its going to be really hard!

Haven't really thought about it yet but probably some little Mickey mouse things that will make her smile.
I don't want to go crazy when she's so young, there will be plenty of years I'll have to blow tons of $ on stuff because she HAS to have something so before it gets to that, we're keeping it simple.

What are you getting your 1.5-2 year old for Christmas ?

DD will be 17 months then. I want to get her:
More food for her kitchen
a shopping cart
a table and chair set
tea set (she likes to sit at a table an dplay with the tea set haha)
magna doodle
A dollhouse bookcase that can be used for books now and dollhouse later
play stroller
Some learning toys that I still have top research

I was just looking at pictures of my son at that age. For Christmas he got a coupe car and a tool bench and tools and the Big Tape (which my 19 mo old daughter loves all the tools and big tape now). Also he got a matchbox car garage and cars - my daughter loves this as we still have it. Just sending cars down the ramp over and over. He got a sit down piano, duum set, and some instruments (horns and stuff). Also a tricycle.

My daughter is 19 mos now and here are things she lovs that are her brothers - pirate ships and the pirates, fire house - kind of like a doll house in it has furniture and people to use - wood one from Kolcraft - I believe. She also loves Thomas the train tracks. SHe loves building her own tracks and playing with the choo choos. She loves small nerf basketballs and hopps. Also really likes Zhu Zhu pets. Not sure i they still sell but the shake and go cars were a huge hit with my boys too. She loves the play kitchen and food. The Melissa and Doug cutting foods are fun.

My daughter will be about 22 mos at Christmas. She needs girlie stuff since I have 2 old boys. But some things on my list for her from santa and family - table and chairs, small trampoline, minnie boutique sets, doll accessories, doll crib, doll high chair - baby stuff - she loves her babies lately! Cupcake and cookies toy food set.

Here are some things my DS is into which might help:

--leapfrog laptop computer toy
--the mickey mouse and friends and sesame street small figures and toy sets
--pl;aydoh
--coloring books and crayons
--got him a small toddler chair and table for his play room and he LOVES it
--anything musical - drums, piano, etc.
--legos
--indoor/outdoor slide (by step 2 i think)
--red wagon
--books
--balls (all different sizes, colors, textures)
--a toddler basket ball hoop
