What are you ladies doing for Thanksgiving?
I am cooking like a crazy lady. I am gluten free so I am preparing a few dishes for both families so DH and I can enjoy some of the traditional foods.
There are 4 new babies born in the family this year so I am being proactive and going to Babies R Us to shop for them. I know it is torture but for me it is more theraputic to face it early and make it a positive moment rather than a sad one. I am thinking ab getting them each christmas onesies for the holidays or a special ornament.
Any good plans to keep you occupied?Anyone going away?

I almost wish I was cooking this year to keep my mind off of IF and TTC. I will probably make a dessert or something. We are going to my Aunt's house this year. Usually around 15 of us, not too big not too small :)

Not sure yet. The family is all going their separate ways. My parents are in NC, My uncle is going with his girlfriend, and my cousin with her moms side. Looks like it's the 3 of us.

We're going to have about 22 people at our house and I'm making the full meal  So excited, it's the third year we're doing it and I absolutely love it.

We hosted here last year and were going to again this year, but with the IVF, I just couldn't do it. I'd be a basket case.
I honestly would LOVE to stay home and have a nice dinner with DH, but I think we are going to my ILs and even then, it's going to be just the 4 of us.

We are going to MIL for dinner, it will be probably just be me, dh, mil, and dh 99 year old grandmother. I'll help MIL cook. Going to my aunt's for dessert.

It's not so good for me the day after  I literally get sore everywhere but I love the whole thing so it's worth it!

We are spending the holiday with DH's side this year. His aunt is hosting and put us in charge of desserts..I'm making pumpkin pie and a no-bake chocolate eclair cake.
My cousins asked if we wanted to go into the city to watch the parade, which is something I've ALWAYS wanted to do, so I'm trying to convince DH to go!

Funny timing because I was just writing out my grocery list. We host every year and I do ALL the cooking. As crazy and overwhelming as it is, I love every minute.

What are you ladies doing for Thanksgiving?
I'm celebrating this Sunday...my sister is in from FL and has to go back to work next week (hotel management). So turkey day in two days! Then on Thursday we are going to my parents for Chanukah lunch, and Dh side for dessert. They don't really do a traditional thanksgiving meal.

I'm hosting, but my mom and I split the cooking. I'm looking forward to having my family over and then putting the tree up on Friday! I absolutely live for this time of year!

We are going to my cousin's this year. She went through IF about 25 years ago, and ultimately adopted. My not drinking is going to be a huge tip off. It's way too early to tell though.

What are you ladies doing for Thanksgiving?
We are having it at our house. Not too happy about it but it just works out better so we aren't going to both sides of the families. Happy there will be no kids! Honestly I have no interest in celebrating Thanksgiving or Christmas this year. This year has been terrible.
