What are you preparing ahead of time for Thanksgiving?
Wondering if I should start something early....do you think it's too early to buy yams?

I'll do the cookies the weekend before, the pies the day before and most of the prep work for the day of (like chopping, assembling, etc.) Unfortunately, most of the work will have to be done the day of. But if I can get desserts and appetizers done beforehand and all the cleaning and decorating... then it's so much stress off my back if all i have to worry about is the main meal.

I already bought the stuffing and of course all decorations, paper products, extra ziploc bags and tin foil
I will make most stuff the day before (Corn pudding, Mac & Cheese) and just heat the day of. I need the oven for the turkey & ham the day of.
