What are your favorite "office-appropriate" holiday gifts?

I'm at a loss this year.....I buy holiday gifts for a few of the assistants within my office - and I really try to make them thoughtful - - and not something that just gets re-gifted or simply tossed in the garbage in February.

Past few years have been gift sets from Stonewall Kitchen or Williams Sonoma, and last year I think I did gift sets from The Body Shop.

Any ideas? What are some of the cute and creative things you've seen as gifts?

If it means anything - I work in the city - and everyone who I'm shopping for lives in the city.

(I try to avoid alcohol - just because I'm weird that way....)

Thanks for any thoughts! I've been struggling with ideas for several weeks now...Chat Icon

Anything coffee related is always a big hit at my job... Starbucks does cute gift baskets but you can also make your own!

Maybe a little basket with a GC to a local spa for mani/pedi's

Coffee basket, but people seem to be really specific about their coffee

Movie basket with popcorn, candy and movie tickets

If women, Coach clutches.

What are your favorite

Love the popcorn movie basket idea.

I also like anything i can truly use. Last year I got a personalized planner. Which was awesome because I live by it.

I like the planner idea, especially if it's from one of my fav designers. Fancy but not too pricey.

Travel coffee mug with a Starbucks GC inside.

Mani/pedi GC is one of my favorite things to receive but I'm not picky about where I go. Some people are.

I know they seem generic but I love getting scarves.

Also love anything monogrammed or personalized somehow.

I always find cute things at Marshalls - last year I got all of the girls in my department little sets of nesting bowls. One year I found pretty jewelry boxes, all reasonably prices.

French macarons! They're so good and also really pretty.

I recommend Laduree, Francois Payard or Macaron Cafe.

Who wouldn't want this? NOM NOM NOM.

I am giving cake servers this year. I have given milk pitchers, salt and pepper sets, luxury soap sets. I give gift receipts but everyone has said how much they love the gifts and they show photos of them using the items for their holiday events. I also get chocolates for the office. I have also given amazon gift cards.

Oh my gosh, that is an awesome gift! I would actually hold off eating them because they're so pretty and posh looking.

They're great...but you can't hold off too long...you should really eat them within two days or so. I learned the hard way! They're great...even though they're really girly looking, DH has snuck one here or there.

Ooooh yeah. These are great too!!! The raspberry one...holy moly! (And unlike the macarons, they are wrapped so last longer)
