What are your favorite recipes for freezable meals?
I just made two veggie lasagnas. One for tonight and one to freeze. I'm recently back to work full time and I have a 6 month old at home. I would love to have a freezer full of meals ready to go? Anyone have a favorite freezable recipe they'd like to share?

Good IDEA!
I am in need. I have issues with cooking/smells..a Pregnancy symptom and need ideas for family to be able to cook for my DH to be able to throw in the oven to cook.

Re: What are your favorite recipes for freezable meals?
I am a huge fan of cooking to freeze. I've been doing this for 2 1/2 yrs now since having DS. Some of my favorite dishes that freeze well are:
- Chili
- Homemade spaghetti sauce (either marinara, or even better if you make it with some ground beef or sausage... then all you have to do at night is heat it up and boil pasta)
- Meatballs
- Thick hearty soups, like bean soups (no creamy soups though, they freeze poorly!!)
- Lasagna
- Breaded chicken cutlets... you can jazz these up upon reheating by making them into sandwiches, or baking with sauce and cheese for chicken parm, etc
- Grilled chicken breasts (marinate if you want, grill, and slice into strips... then you can warm up as many strips as you need to throw into salads, wraps, stir fry, etc)
- Sloppy joes
- BBQ pulled pork or pulled chicken
Hope this helps!

computergirl thankyou! Those are awesome ideas!
I was searching and found this article on AllRecipes about freezing foods. It links to a bunch of recipes that sound yummy!

Re: What are your favorite recipes for freezable meals?
I have been buying stuff at Costco (fish and chicken) and freezing it in individual portions.
Chicken - I take two cutlets and just throw them on the George Foreman Grill frozen. Once they are cooked (about 10 mins) I add BBQ sauce or throw them in a salad.
Salmon - Freeze in individual portions and throw in oven for 20-30 mins. Salmon is also AWESOME on the Foreman Grill.
I also use Omaha stuff like burgers and chicken and cook on the Foreman Grill. Quick, easy and no defrosting.
