I have it, not in my car, but in my house. I love it. I can't stand the regular radio anymore. So many options depending on your mood, you can always find something you like to listen too, I love it. I love it so much I bought a portable for my commute to NYC. Its great.

150% worth it.

I was stuck in a rental car for 4 days without it (stupid Hertz, I guess a reservation isnt really a reservation...) and I wanted to hurt myself and others due to the lack of Sirius in the car.

Depending on your MP3 collection, not worth it IMO cause I have endless mp3 i can listen too... Depending on cost per month + setup kit, if you had an mp3 player hooked up to the car, its kinda the same thing, ...

I got this for my husband as soon as Howard Stern announced he was moving because my husband is a fan of Stern.

He loves it. He likes that he can listen to stations that are targeted toward the types of music he wants to hear and he likes to listen to Stern and the Comedy channels.

He thinks it is totally worth it.

Love it.

I got it for DH 3 years ago (a year before Stern actually started, but when he announced it) and we've been hooked ever since.

In fact, last night while we were decorating we were playing Sirius Christmas channels onthe computer.

We have it in two cards and we pay less than $20 a month.

Got it for DH's bday 2 years ago, worth every penny, and now I always renew his subscription and part of his bday gift.

He loves the NFL channel and Howard Stern.

My parents bought him a booxbox type of thing so he can listen to it in the house or when he goes to watch football with his buddies.

Re: What are your feelings on Sirius Satellite Radio? Worth it or not?

I have XM and love it.
The only thing I would recommend is that you investigate which you would prefer.
Sirius has football and basketball and XM has baseball and hockey, so depending on which sports you prefer might help your decision.
Also, I believe XM has more of a variety of music types as opposed to Sirius, but I'm not sure.
And XM has Opie and Anthony/Ron and Fez while Sirius has Howard.

I think it's a very personal decision re: which you choose and in the long run it may not matter since they are supposedly merging in the next year or so.

Agreed. Both offer 3 free days online trial, so I usually suggest that people sign up for both, and actually look at and listen to the music available on both.

I love it! DH and I both have it in our cars. I have a 25 minute commute to work and listen to it every day! I cant stand commercials anymore! Plus you can listen on the computer so I do that at work as well!

Re: What are your feelings on Sirius Satellite Radio? Worth it or not?

Aren't XM and Sirius merging?

I love Sirius and I do have a lot on my iPod and an iPod radio transmitter thingie, but you get so many more choices with Sirius and you'll get to listen to things you wouldn't ordinarily listen to on regular radio or the iPod. I heart it. Of course I don't pay for mine...Chat Icon My BIL and sis love Sirius so much they bought an extra one to use in the yard during the summer, now that it's winter, it's going in my car.

Re: What are your feelings on Sirius Satellite Radio? Worth it or not?

I got it for DH 3 years ago for Christmas and he LOVES it. Whenever we go on car trips, we HAVE to use his car because he simply can't be without it. He travels constantly too so it's great for him when he's on the road. He's also a Howard Stern fanatic, so he's constantly got the channel set on Howard100. I love it because I can have it streaming through the computer.

Totally worth it IMO!! I pay for the yearly subscription every year and it's always one of his Christmas gifts;)
