What are your go to foods/favorite recipes for your toddlers?
DH cooks dinner, but he usually doesn't finish until DS is already asleep. I feel like I'm constantly giving DS the same things for dinner. He eats yogurt, cheese, fruit and turkey a lot. Sometimes I give him waffles or eggs. He loves all of the Dr. Praeger's pancakes and eats them pretty often. He started rejecting any kind of mac 'n cheese recently so I've stopped offering that. I've tried to give him chunks of baked or steamed vegetables, but he usually doesn't eat much of them.
I need more of a variety. What are your go to foods for your toddlers? Do you have any favorite recipes?

chicken cutlets, turkey meatballs, meatloaf, quesadilla - those are his favorites right now. Sometimes i'll make a quick egg with cheese too. He used to love his veggies, but not so much anymore. He'll still eat corn and peas and last night I was shocked when he actually tried the asparagus!!

They've started eating what we eat for dinner. I was feeling the same as you - no variety. We just started eating with them recently, but when they ate before us, I'd cook them a small portion of what I was making that night.
The really love fajita night! DS adores refried beans.
On nights I don't cook, they'll usually have fish sticks or grilled cheese. They also really like sweet potato fries and peas.

I could have written this myself. We eat after DS goes to sleep. I am looking for some new ideas as well! DS current favorites are cheese ravioli, baked chicken with peas and carrots, pasta with meatsauce, grilled cheese

Re: What are your go to foods/favorite recipes for your toddlers?
As far as quick stuff, DD's absolute favorite thing is the Chicken & Cilantro wontons from Trader Joe's! They are quick and easy to make, and she gobbles them up!
Other than that, if she can't have what we are having (we like spicy stuff), then we'll usually do chicken nuggets, fish sticks, and just yesterday we discovered whole wheat English Muffin pizzas! I just took 1/2 of an english muffin, put some sauce on it (mixed some carrots into the sauce first ), threw some cheese on top and put it in the toaster oven for a few minutes. She loved it!
