What are your plans for NYE?
For all the mommies with new and young babies, what are your plans for New Years? Are you getting a sitter, going to someone's house, staying home, etc? If you are going to celebrate at someone's house, how do you plan to handle all the noise at midnight? Will you keep the baby up, etc?

I think we're going out to dinner, but will probably be home for midnight. Katherine is only 3 1/2 mos., so I wouldn't keep her up. It's no big deal to me; I'm kind of looking forward to staying home!

We will be at home. We're having another couple over with their 2 kids, ordering in and just chatting and watching the kids run around.. nothing crazy.

DH and I are going to his mothers and stepfathers for the weekend I am sure that is going to be tons of fun be prepared for some venting about the inlaws on tuesday since I will be away from a computer till I get back to work on tuesday So aside from having withdrawals from the website I am sure inlaws will annoy me

Going to my parents house for dinner with DH and Julia, we will have family there and friends of ours and there baby will be there also. My parents have so many rooms in there house so I wont have a problem with Julia hearing the loud noise, plus she can sleep threw anything!

We're having a party here at our co-op. Another friend is bringing her baby too. I've gone out for so many years, it's going to be nice to spend it at home.

We're celebrating as we did last year. Noisemakers, streamers, hats & tiaras...we count down & yell Happy New Year at 8pm, kiss the kids like mad & then send them to bed. Then if we're up at midnight, maybe a kiss and some .
We had the option of going to 2 parties but neither of us are up for it.

We used to do this with my friends daughter when they came for NYE, then when she learned to tell time we were done! LOL

We're going to the cousins on Squam Lake in New Hampshire.
Aidan will go to sleep before midnight, I don't think he'll hear the festivities from where he is sleeping.

Me and DH aren't really into NYE. We stay home and just relax and usually watch tv and have a nice quiet evening.

We're either staying home or going to a friends' house with other kids if Miranda isn't in bed already but she's been in bed between 9-10pm and I really don't want to mess with that too much because she'll just be super cranky otherwise.
