What baby items can be saved for next baby?
BTDT moms:
*What baby items can be safely saved for the next child (assuming on average, next child will be within 2-3 years)? What is the best way to store the items? *What items should not be saved?
Would love to save money if possible but I don't want to store anything that is not safe to reuse! Some of the items that I am thinking of are: crib, carseat, bottles, nipples, clothing, bibs, washclothes, blankets, toys, medela bottles for breastpump, etc.
Thanks!!

My kids are 20 months apart... I didn't bottle feed but I saved pretty much everything... all the clothes, infant bath, car seat, bumbo, swing, stroller, toys, etc... I don't think I threw anything away...

I saved everything and am reusing most everything as far as gear and some clothes. I threw away bottle nipples, pacis and everyday shoes - - anything that I felt was grubby or could be too worn with use. Also I replaced towels, wash clothes, crib sheets, sheet savers, my boppy (my first one was flat since my son loved it - whereas #2 hated it and the new one is still brand new 7 mos later).
I did find after 2.5 years some of the clothes I saved had to be tossed. Stains that didn't seem to be there when the clothes were put away became very evident after sitting for 2 years.

Re: What baby items can be saved for next baby?
My first 2 are 20 months apart, and #2 and #3 are 27 months apart. I used the same infant carseat for all 3, same crib, same bouncy seat.
I replaced the things that had gotten disgusting after 2 babies for my 3rd.
I did not re-use nipples or pacis or anything like that. I bought new for all of them.

MIne are 14 months apart, i did the same.
I did buy new bottles/nips and washcloths for the new baby, along with a crib set.
i didn't throw anything out.
I stored all my clothes in rubbermaid totes by size/season. Toys were put in totes as well, i took the fabric off of the swing/bouncy seats and put them in garbage bags, everything got stored in my attic. When i used them again, i just re washed the fabrics and cleaned the stuff.

I am saving everything. When we have another baby I will probably end up buying a new bouncer but that is it. And maybe some new bottles.

Right now I am trying to pack any and all thing that are still in good shape as my DS outgrows them.
I expect to replace: Onesies Socks Bibs Bedding & sheets Changing Pad Covers Blankets Bottles Nipples
I am sure I am overlooking something but otherwise everything else will be used with the next baby unless it gets recalled from now until then.
