What baby items of YOURS are you passing on to your DC...
I recently found this Hummel at Mom's house (the only Hummel I ever liked) that used to hang over the door of my room as a baby that I will more than likely have in Ed-lie's room.
I also have both of my OWN baby blankets, one of which Ed-lie can use.
Do you have anything of YOURS that YOU used as a baby that will go in your DC's room?

I have two baby blankets. Since my parents didn't know what I was so one was girly and the other is green/yellow
DD got the girly one when she was born and DS is going to have the other. They were made for me by my late grandmother so they are sentimental.

my mom the packrat has kept ALL of my stuff 
so, Scone will have my baby blanket, many of my stuffed animals (but not the collectable steiffs for active play), a few toys (the ones that aren't hazardous!), and a library's worth of books.
oh, and the lederhosen.... let's not forget the toddler-sized lederhosen  and YES, they are a genuine pair (expensive, suede, and straight from the fatherland... boy I HATED them!) I attached a pic I found on the net which looks super-similar to my pair
If I have a girl next time, I also have a baptismal gown and many other girly items....

I still have my coming home outfit with matching hat. Pity the zipper is a safety hazard.

I have my baby brush...and I think my mom has a dress that my grandmother made for me.
but I did save all of my barbie dolls, cabbage patch dolls, my little ponies etc...hopefully DD will enjoy them as much as I did.

 that's not uncommon.... DH grew-up in poland and has virtually NOTHING from his childhood (becuase they couldn't come here with much)  only a few documents, maybe 5 pictures, and some religious items.

If I am blessed with a daughter, I would love for her to have all my dolls and my doll house. I may have a handknit blanket at my mom's that I would like this baby to have. It was made by my aunt and this baby will be named after her (the baby's middle name is after her)

Its a shame.. I dont have anything from my childhood, only a handful of pictures. I had a falling out with my mother a few years ago and she is the one with all of my things growing up

you can always have the zipper replaced by a tailor ;) thats a beautiful idea!!
Im turning my wedding gown into a christening dress for my  that she will be able to pass on to babies she has :)

DD wore a sweater and hat last winter that I wore as a baby. My grandmother made them for me.

I have the cross that hung in my room as a child in Hayley's room. Now that she is moving into a new room, I will move it to her new room and get DD#2 a new cross.
I have all my cabbage patch dolls, Hayley already has the doll cradle I used as a child.
