What Brand/Type of formula do they start you out with at St. Catherine's?
My BF is delivering there later this month and I wanted to buy her some formula as part of her gift. TIA!

Well it was over 16 months ago but they started us on Similac Advanced...
Im wondering if you couldnt call the nursery and ask them...

When I delivered early last year it was Similac Advance. A friend delivered there a few weeks ago and it was Advance Early Shield.

Isn't it usually whatever the ped. recommends? I'm pretty sure all hospitals have both kinds and some have Goodstart also.

I only saw enfamil at the hospital I delivered at.

They started us off with this(Oct 08) there and my pediatrician wanted me to switch as soon as I got home. She didn't like the new formula Something to consider...

My ped said the same thing...but my DH did great on the formula at the hospital so why would I switch. I told that to my Ped and she had no concerns.
