What can I display on my "Wedding shelf"
I have my toasting fluts and I am going to put a picture frame with a wedding pic in it.
I know this is mean but I hate our Unity candle!! I lost the first one I got
and my mom had to run out the day before the wedding and buy another one.. and its SO ugly
I can't put our invitation since it was a scroll and wont look right.
Our wine favor wont fit its too tall..
Its a long shelf so just the toasting flutes and frame looks silly

PIMP!!!
ETA: The invite in the frame pic is a GREAT idea but I dont know if it would fit.. Since it was a scroll we put ALOT of wording to make it long and now it might be too long to fit

On my "wedding shelf" I have..
*Our cake topper;
*our flutes;
*a wedding-ish picture frame with a few of my favorite pics (ironicially enough, not even proofs from Duet - these were pics from guests  )
*I have just our junky little favors.. the bells w/our names i ribbon, the swan with the jordan almonds..
*Oh I also have a picture of our "childhood wedding portrait" that was done for us when we were supposed to be the B&G at the WOTY last year.. .its very cute
*We have pretty mikasa candle holders that were a gift and another Lenox swan on there too, that were engagement gifts.
Maxine, I hated our unity candle too (we didn't use it at the church , just displayed it on our sweetheart table, so that is packed away. bleeeh I hated it!!  )
I know there is something else but I'm blanking out ... DH already thinks its too cluttered and after listing it all off, I think he's right!
(I dont have our invitation up there, hmm.. good idea!)
EDTIED TO ADD : ah yes Donna reminded me, I also have the wedding cake candle on that shelf that my MOH gave me

and I also have the box of almonds with the ribbon around it!

invitation. dried out bouquet. dried out BM bouquet (I have 2 from 2 BMs who forgot to take them home). tiara. one of the frames that I gave out as placecards. I also have a Capodimonte piece in there. It kind of holds everything together. ceremony program. dinner menu

Maxine, didn't you do the bagel cart too? I thought I remembered seeing photos of the favor table with the wine on it, and photos of the bagel cart - what if you framed a small photo of those and put them there to represent your favors? Or would that look weird?

I have a shelf with a lot of wedding stuff on it. Besides our unity candle, I have our program, our parents wedding pictures, one of our wedding bells and the favor from my shower.
