What can I do with my garmin runs online?
any tracking or mapping websites?

I tried to hook up my garmin to my computer...I had the disc, hooked it up with the cable and it didn't even work!
When I want to put my mileage online I just use dailymile (although it doesn't have as many features as the garmin provides).
ETA: I just did a search on Runner's World Forums for you to see what the runners there use. It seems runningahead.com is a popular website too.

I just installed the garmin software and it is pretty cool! Try it again!
I am viewing graphs: speed over time, speed vs elevations... and it is not what I expected to see. I would have never guess my speed picks up going uphill because I feel like I am suffering and going slow. Very interesting.
I wish there was someway to do this online, like the nike+ website. The map it shows me is just a line, wish there was someway to put it on a real map.

That sounds so cool. I would love to see my data displayed like that.
I'm going to have to try it again. It might just be my laptop..its kind of old and has trouble accepting new software. Maybe when DH gets a new computer I'll take over that for running purposes.

which watch do you have? I have the forerunner 405 and it came with a stick to plug into the computer. you download the software and then log on to the garmin website (only works when the stick is in the computer) and it shows you your mileage, where you ran (literally where, the maps are great), your average speed, if you use the laps function it tells you your pace and miliage for each lap, the elevation, etc.
Also you can goal set, name your runs (if you are training etc) and really watch your pace develop.
