saline drops and run the hot shower and just sit with child in the steam, also humidifier.

People have told me you can put a little vicks on their feet and then put socks on them but I've never tried it.

ITA with this. If it is really bad, you can sleep them in the car seat so they drain.

Saline drops, humidifier, steam from hot shower. Really nothing else. Audrina has a stuffed, running nose now. Basically doing the above.

I agree with what the PP's said. If the stuffiness lingers or gets bad enough, your ped may prescribe something. Our's basically gave us something similar to Dimetapp (sp?) for DS when his nose got really bad.

I completely forgot the best home remedy. A bowl of warmed apple cider vinegar with fresh ginger in it near or under their crib also helps.

I think at 4 mths old you can use the vapor plugs from PediaCare or Triaminic.
We're dealing with it too....I'm trying to avoid milk and dairy products and giving LOTS of fluids to thin the mucous.
