What can you tell me about Dr. San Roman?
So I had to switch doctors for insurance purposes and decided to go with Dr. Gustavo San Roman. My first appointment is April 3rd and I'll be about 9 1/2- 10 weeks at that point. I really hope he'll give me a sono but they didn't say. I'm not really sure what else would be the purpose of having an appointment at that point other than just meeting the doctor. for those who go to him-What can you tell me about him? Does he usually do sonos at that point or do you think he's going to make me wait until its time to do the NT scan? What's the office staff like? So far from looking at this site and talking to others, everyone seems to love him. That's why I ultimately chose him... but I am still nervous going to someone new, just when I was really starting to get comfortable with my doc.

My sister used him and raved about him! No issues and a very easy labor. I am using the Stony Brook Midwizes and have no complaints.
Part of the reason why I switched from Suffolk OB (is that you're office?) was their terrible bedside manner when it came to my chemical in September, no follow up, etc., but also because I decided with this pregnancy that I want a totally differnt birthing plan/experience that Suffolk OB wouldn't afford me.

Re: What can you tell me about Dr. San Roman?
I used to go to Suffolk OB but they were really rude to me and I didn't like the 2 doctors I saw there. So I switched last year to Dr. Tufano and Erhart. Their office staff has their own issues but the 2 doctors are both amazing. I saw Tufano and Erhart while she was on maternity leave.
But my new insurance doesn't give me much of a choice for doctors.
