I have never bought one thing in Gymboree - just never see anything I like plus it's expensive.

For me, it's GAP and CP too. Not a fan of Denny's either.
I do like Old Navy, Target and Gymboree.

I don't like the Children's Place. Have gottne a few things but I feel like she can only wear "outifts" from there, like nothing matches anything else she has.
Don't like Osh kosh ether. And I haven't been inside a Denny's since I was a kid.
Love Carter's and Target. Followed by the Gap.

I'm not in love with The Childrens Place either although I did go this weekend and they had a better selection than they usually do. Their prints are too funky for my taste but they did have some nice holiday selections.
ETA: Also Gymboree...their stuff is OK but pricey for what it is IMO. I have not found a line from them that I fell in love with.

I'm not a fan of Children's Place and Gymboree. I also really never like anything from that Koala Brand at BRU that's so pricey.

I don't like TCP at all although I did just buy DS jeans from there because I heard good things.
Before I had kids I always thought I would love baby gap, but it kind of doesn't do it for me. Except for the warmest jacket, I don't think we really have too much from there.
I do however LOVE Gymboree for both DS and DD

Gymboree...I have a $200 credit from gifts I returned and can't seem to ever find anything I like.
Same here! It took me over a year to use a $100 credit. But I have to admit the clothes I finally did get, she had forever and are still in perfect condition.

Denny's... we spent sooo much on the layette only to realize all the stuff looks the same and it's overpriced. Plus, I'm not a fan of tye-dye for boys.
I LOVE TCP... the boys tops and pants are cute, but I don't like their PJ's.
Never been to Gymboree so I can't say.

My favorite's are GAP and Gymboree.

I am not a fan of the children's place EXCEPT that they carry onsies to size 5T so i am able to get my ds them.... to be honest i havent been impressed with really anywhere this season....

I'm not a huge fan of CP. It's really hit or miss in my opinion and way too flashy for my taste most of the time. I do like a few basics and their boy stuff is OK.
Osh Kosh has gone down hill since they became the same company as Carter's. There stuff was awful the last time I went in there.

people always tell me what great bargains they find at these 2 stores, I guess I just dont have the patience to sift through all the misplaced stuff they have there on the racks.

OMG me too!
Although the Gymboree PJs were really nice and even better I got them for $8.
Maybe because I have a boy, but I feel like Gymboree is 45830945803 times better for girls.

I don't really like Childrens Place! I used to love it when my Neices where younger. Now when I go look for DS, I don't like anything. I feel like the style of the clothes are not as nice as they used to be.
Marshalls and TJ Maxx I can also do without.
I mostly shop at Old Navy, Gap, Gymboree and Kohls.
I can see people not liking Gymboree for kids over 5-6yrs.

I loathe Old Navy. Their girl stuff is fine, but their selection for boys is horrible. DH's grandma sends DS a $50 for Christmas every year and I end up using at least part of it for me or DH
I find Baby Gap to not have a lot for boys either...

The Children's Place post got me thinking. I'm surprised, but I don't really love Children's Place, and I don't really know why  I love bright colors, and they always have great colors, I'm just never in love with anything from there for DD.
I have gotten a cute special-occasion dresses for DD from there, but that's about it.
Definitely not knocking those who love that store, just suprised I don't love it too.
I feel like I should love OSh Kosh, but...not so much. As for TCP i worked there for like 4 years and sometimes the colors and patterns are just way too much. It also annoys me that there's logos all over a lot of the stuff. I feel like it's hit or miss. But i get crazy deals there very often! I feel like that about Gymboree too...not the colors but just i either love everything (but hate the prices) or love nothing. I just hit everywhere and look for deals with coupons & rewards cards in hand! l loves me a bargain, LOL!
