What color do you paint a hallway?
What color do you paint a hallway? I hate that it's white. I want to add some color without it looking stupid. What color did you paint yours? Our hallway is very wide and spacious with a lot of natural light. I want to keep that open and airy feeling! Help!!!!!!

Something neutral but with a little color... beige, gold, etc.
My hallways and foyer are BM Bar Harbor Beige.

Our hallway opens up to and shares a wall with our living room. Thiey are both painted valspar, pure wheat. Its a soft yellowish color.

Our hallway is a very light beige. Not sure of the color name but, Im not happy with it. I would def go a few shades darker if I would do it over.
I would stick with a beige/tan color.

i like light and neutral hallways - and something that ties in with the other colors in your house....a light gray, taupe, beige, cream, etc would be my suggestion...but you say you have a lot of natural light so you might be able to go deeper/darker and it would still feel airy and open...
my staircase, loft and upstairs hallway is painted BM Manchester Tan - i wanted something light so the space would feel open...i'm in townhouse so i have limited natural light...

My hallways are BM Woodmont Cream. It's the color of eggnog. I love it - rich and creamy - not too dark and not too light

We did a lighter shade of our living room. The hallway flows off the living room. It is a lighter grey color can't remember the name though

We did shaker beige at 50% lighter... but we did our foyer BM Smokey Taupe and LOVE that so much more. It's more of a true taupe/gray, no yellow undertones like shaker beige... it has purple-y undertones. Love it!

WE did BM putnam ivory and we did it in the entry hallway as well as the upstairs hallway and I must say based on the lighting the color looks different...with the natural light it looks more of a light tan ivory with the regular light it looks def a richer tan
