What color highlights/lowlights would look best...
with this color hair (chocolate brown)?
What is the difference between highlights and lowlights?

I think highlights are lighter than the base color, lowlights are darker. I don't think you could do lowlights, itd be too dark. As for what would work, I'd say a darker carmel color would look nice.

Honey would be lighter, but remember, they could always put in a toner to tone it down if it's too light.

Well, you could do both or just the honey... I don't think it's too light at all.

try amber...its warmer than caramel but just as bright. Honey might be too light.

I would do two toned highlights and thicker on one of the colors. Like honey and caramel, thicker caramel ones to add depth and contrast.
