What Color Roof?
okay we cannot decide,
DH likes blue roof blue shutters!~~ I hate BLUE ROOFS!!
i also like green roof green shutters, but
I want cedar/tan colored roof, we have a cedar stained door, cedar stained fence on both sides of the house, and we can get cedar stained shutters to match~~
i like that idea, ity's different~ all you see in levittown, is green roof, green shutters, blue roof blue shutters, or grey roof, black shutters!!
ANY THOUGHTS?IDEAS?

Is your house white or gray? I wasn't sure from the pics. If it's white I think a tan roof would look nice, but for some reason I don't think it goes with a gray house. Personally I like a dark gray roof, but that's JMO. I love your house. It's very nice!

I agree with you , all you see is blue on blue or green on yellow siding green shutters. The question is are you going to change your siding anytime soon like within 5-10 yrs? and what is your style? do you like bold colors or traditional?

Why not do a nice brown roof w/ maroon shutters? Ours friends a few blocks down have this and it looks nice. The cedar idea is nice too. I have the blue roof and shutters and love it. You said you don't like that but that's my favorite.

we have maroon shutters, a gray roof and light gray siding (i think i posted a before and after pic on a similar thread a few weeks ago!) i did maroon for now but the great part is that with a gray roof, we can change to green, blue or even black shutters in the future to give a facelift to the house...in case i get bored! 
(edited ot add, the pics of ours which basically look like white siding in the pics are here! )
