what color stain would you use for this...(pic fixed)
They just did the trim for the floor. and i have no clue what color to do.

I can see it now....maybe stain it to a color close to what the wood floor is next to it?
Tough one, I'm not sure.
I really want to say white, just like the other trim you have there, but that would probably get dirty very quickly.

I would try to match the stain of the floor that you have. If you can't do that, I would just leave it natural and do a clear coat to seal.

I would do it a tad darker than what it is now so it matches the wood floor.

is that tile?
we have a tile kitchen floor that meets both carpet and wood and no trim... they all just butt up against each other. I've never seen it done your way - looks nice.
I'd match the wood floor next to it as well.
