I have a HUGE box of crackers left over from Christmas. They in a tupperware type thing, but probably on their way to staleville with no return ticket.

Anyone have any ideas of what to do with cracker crumbs? That kind of thing....

Re: What could I do with crackers?

cracker crumbs may be substituted for bread crumbs...so make some chicken or eggplant cutlets!

ETA: I was stuck once without bread crumbs and used saltines, and the chicken came out great

I did that! We ate too much cheese at Christmas! Along with Pate, gherkins, chutneys...but I bought the box at Costco, so you can imagine how big it is!

yes, champagne. But I prefer to drink champagne in bed...so imagine the crumbs!!!

"Putting on the Ritz" Chicken
crush the crackers in a bag. Dip the chicken in beaten egg. Place the chicken in the bag and shake to coat it.
Then lie the chicken flat on a cookie sheet. Place tabs of butter over the chicken. Cook chicken for about 25 minutes at 375 degrees or until cooked through.
