What did you do on dd/ds actual b-day?

I am feeling kinda guilty bc dd's big b-day is on Dec 2 but her actual B-day is Nov 26 and I feel like I should be doing something fun for her on that day. Did anyone do anything special on their childs actual b-day or did you feel the party day was enough? Also, if you have any ideas of what I 'could" do on her actual b-day let me know.
Maybe white post farms? Inside, right?
Maybe take a few friends to chuckee cheese...I dont know...any suggestions...?

White post farms sounds like a nice idea. Or the chuck e cheese thing sounds good too. My DS's bday is actually my bday too, so last year on his first bday I had a party at my house with about 25 people (catered in food) on Dec 16th. On Dec. 28th (actual bday) we just went out to dinner and then had cake with immediate family.

This year I am not doing anything really for his 2nd. It falls on a friday, so I am doing just cake with immediate family and close neighbors with their kids (total 10 people) and then on sat the 29th, going out to dinner with the grandparents and then Sunday DH is taking me out for MY fair share of bday festivities!

I think your ideas are great though for the actual bday! Enjoy!!

Steven's is November 17, which is Saturday, so we're having his celebration then

RJ's 1st was on his actual b-day

This year his party was the day before his actual.

On his actual we went on a train ride and went to chuckie cheese, then had family over for cake...

White post farms or the aquarium might be a good idea...

I think she is too little for chuckie cheese- there was very little for Ry to do and he is 2...

We took Kaitee to babies r us and let her pick out a toy and then we went to the park. and before DH went to work we let her eat her first cupcake.

We went to the Aquarium thats near Liverpool. It was a nice ride out for his nap, and then he enjoyed running around looking at the fish. I would take him to Chester Zoo this year, but as he is a January baby, its bound to be freezing cold.

DDs birthday was on a Saturday this year, and that's when their party was. Other years we'll probably just take them out to dinner if their party doesn't fall on that day.

DD's birthday is on a Thursday. We are flying out the next day so I think we'll probably be packing and getting ready to go. We'll probably just sing to her and eat some cake.

Lily's was a Saturday (yesterday). We took her to breakfast, where she had pancakes & fruit. She opened some presents. We ran errands (bought her a cake, etc.) after her morning nap & lunch. She opened more presents after errands. We took her out to a very nice dinner at the original Morton's Steakhouse. Then we had cake & sang Happy Birthday (for like the 10th time.) She had fun.
