What did you put in the mesh feeder?
Besides banana which I heard was hard to clean out of it.

Apples, pears, grapes
I also used to put an icecube in there for when he was teething.

i put EVERYTHING in it! lol, Its a pain in the A$$ to clean but she loves chewing on it n it keeps her happy when we go out to eat.
Shes had pineapple, apples, banannas, grapes, french fires (i know im a bad mommy lol) chicken, meatball, she loves eating ice out of it for some reason..

I haven't had an issues with it at all. The holes are SO tiny that nothing big enough to harm them will make it through.
