What did you put in your 1-3yo bday party favor bag?
I'm sitting here about to press checkout but am having doubts.
What did you put in the favor bags for your 1-3 year olds?
I have a thomas visor, thomas blowout, thomas bubbles, thomas punchball, thomas stamps and a thomas bouncy ball.
I can't help but think this stuff is "junk".

Re: What did you put in your 1-3yo bday party favor bag?
For DD's first birthday....we had so many age ranges for kids...i had a million different goodie bags
I gave all kids 2 and under a stuffed Elmo I got from Kohls on sale and used at 30 % coupon...i spent less than 5 bucks.
I gave the kids between ages 3-4 a play-dohbucket from kohls...on sale with coupon and i think i spent less than 4 bucks.
I have girls 5 to 7 pedicure kits from kohls...and boys 5-7 a mish mosh of things you buy at party city (balls, silly puttty, gooey stuff).
I was very impressed with how well I did on the goodie bags...I shopped around and got great prices.
I think the bubbles are great...the visor and bouncy ball too...I would just be afraid that the ball would come off the punchball and the kid might choke on the ball and the stamps as well. I don't know if I am being completely paranoid...Lexi's first b-day was my first party with kids! I am not a pro ;)
But I think your stuff seems great and Goodie bags are meant to be full on Junk!!! haha!!!!!

My favor bags have been filled with junk too. DS 1st bday was a monkey theme so the kids got candy, colorng books, crayons, little bean bag monkeys, etc... 2nd bday was pirate themes. The favors were a sand art project and I had a treasure hunt of more junk. 3rd bday party was a petting zoo/pony rides and the kids got cowboy hats and some farm themed/related junk.

Re: What did you put in your 1-3yo bday party favor bag?
I had the same issue. DSs 3rd party was Thomas. but I had a hard time with te favors because I felt the same as you, that most parents would just hate getting this junk.
So We were having a painting party (thomas decor) so I did painting smocks with the kids names on them (did them myself), some candy, a crazy straw and a craft. We had the thomas blowouts on the table for the kids to use.
I would say maybe go with 1 or 2 of the Thomas items (bubbles and punchball would be my recommendation) and then fill with other stuff that the kids may like, stickers, coloring books, etc.

I did pails w/ shovels, crayons, coloring book, puzzle, ball, beach ball.
I think it sound cute what you put together. Most of the time we just get bags or boxes full of candy so I actually prefer the little trinkets instead. I doubt anyone would be expecting anything fancy for a kiddie party.

One favor that DD got that I loved (and we still have) was a little plastic envelope with foam letters for her name. It was very useful in learning the letters and how to spell her name.
