Mine won't wear a hat for love nor money. He just wears his big mop of hair. I have a hat that velcros under the chin, he wore one last year, but this year he is a bit more dexterous, so he will probably whip it off.
We will have to see what happens.

The rule is if they want to stay outside to play (and they always do), they have to keep their hat on.
If it's a quick to/from the car, I'll opt for the hood.

Same here, he doesn't like anything on his head except his plastic Tonka hard hat. Maybe he can get away with that this winter
