What do guests do that drive you crazy?
For me, when the in-laws light up without asking if it's ok. We're both non-smokers.

when they pace around looking at every little thing...
as if they were some detective looking for fingerprints
smoking would be my number one but anyone who comes into my house KNOWS never to do this

Two things for me.
1. Barging into our bedroom without asking to take a look and going into my closet to peep. This really gets to me alot.
2. Want to know where I buy every freaking thing in my house from.

my smoker friends always ask to go on the roof to smoke, theyre all respectful.... but i dont mind them smoking inside.... but its nice they ask

When they treat my dog badly.
You know we have a dog, so don't act surprised and disgusted when you get here. I'm not sending my dog away because YOU decided to stop by.
We have this one couple that comes over sometimes and they spend the whole time saying "Get the DOG away." or "Go away DOG."
They won't even say his name. And it's not like they are afraid, they have both had dogs in the past, they are just rude.

It was a one time occurance. A guest brought her child over, wasnt really watching him, but was upset that my home wasnt baby proofed. I was at a loss for words

I think we're going to have a problem with that too. Well, I should say that my family may have a problem, not us. Because we agree we're not going to shut the dogs in a room just because there are guests over.
We'll also be training them from the start not to develop the habits that people get annoyed at the most - jumping up, begging at the table, etc. So then the only excuse I could see is if a child was afraid of dogs. Which none of my nieces and nephews are so, no problem there.
