What do they look for at the 30(ish) week sonogram?
and is it external or internal?

External. It's really just a heartbeat and if everything looks normal. I had a bigger sonogram at 34 weeks. They measure bones, etc.
They check if the baby is in position!

I'll have a sono at 32 weeks and my dr. told me it's a growth sono.

It could be a growth sono which really just measures the babies size and position. It should be external.

That is what i was thinking. Mine will be at 31 weeks but I couldn't remember if it was a week erleir or a week later LOL
Will be good to see the baby no matter what

Is it fairly standard to have another sono now? I'm 30 weeks and my doctor hasn't mentioned another sono at this point. I had one at 6 weeks, 12 weeks and 20 weeks (plus 2 extras for concerns). I will ask at my next apt if there will be any more.

I have my 30 week growth sono on Wednesday and will almost 30 weeks....it's external and they're just measuring the baby and checking his position.
