What do you consider to be the start of the second trimester?
I know this question has been asked before, but there seems to be differing opinions as to when the second trimester starts. I'm just curious as to when you consider yourself to be in the 2nd trimester.

really? 27 weeks. I think that is the end not the beg.
I think it is when you are in your 13th week.

14 weeks for 2nd tri to start and 27 for thrid tri to start.

This is what it says on my PG calendar from Babycenter.
I wish the books/websites were consistent about when the second trimester starts. I thought it was somewhere between 13 and 14 weeks, but wasn't sure what the consensus was on it.

Week 14, work in medical field and just found this out when i got pregnant. I sell all the pregnancy testing and ACOG defines Trimester 1 as week 1-13.9 LOL, ugh...
I know that after week 12, the miscarriage rate decreases significantly...

My doc says 14 weeks - the last day they will do the first trimester screening (ultrascreen) is 13w, 6 days.
