What do you do after...silly dont laugh at me lol
you BD?
Are you sopposed to just lay there...
Lift legs up in the air/elevate them
I know I saw this somewhere but wondered if people really do and if it works?

I did it- I just layed there with my legs drawn up (hugging my knees). I don't know if it really works- but it was a nice way to just lay with DH and talk about the new adventure we were beginning....

Again, as I always say, there are plenty of unplanned pregnancies where nobody did any kind of acrobatics and they ended up pregnant. So anything is possible!

my doctor told me to put two pillows under me after for at least an HOUR!!! It's even on the infertility worksheet she gave me.
I have not done this yet as I have not started the meds yet and have still not gotten AF, I'm wondering how comfortable that can be for an hour!

I never lay for a long time, TMI maybe but I am prone to UTI's as a result of leaving the ahem, stuff in there...so I pee RIGHT afterwards and I still managed to get pregnant without planning it so I wouldn't worry too much about it but securing that you don't lose any certainly can't hurt...

The 1st month I pretty much looked like an ostrich with my head in the sand (TMI I know  ) and then this month I just layed still and didnt not pee for at least an hour after.

I know this is way TMI, but I have to ask.. sometimes some of it "falls out" of me when we're done - I guess that is why I might believe the elevating might help, lol. I do worry that I will have trouble b/c some of it comes out.

DH would laugh at me b/c like a lunatic i would prop myself up in the air with tons of pillows. i figured i could use all the help i could get so i did it! guess it worked! but i don't think you have to stand on your head-maybe just lying still for a bit if you can hold out on going to the bathroom.

I would put a pillow underneath my hips and lay there for 15-20 minutes. Make sure you don't elevate yourself too high or the little swimmers could go beyond where they need to be. It worked for us!

The only difference I did this month is I had to get up each time we BD cause our daughter was home and we couldnt lay in bed but next month someone will be spending alot of time at grandma

The difference we had this month is that I actually fell asleep right after BDing. I woke up 3-4 hours later with my legs still elevated. Oddly enough, now I'm pregnant. So, my advice is to be like a man: Get what you want and fall right asleep.

With both PG I was obsessed with doing every little thing possible to help with getting PG. So yes, after each BD I layed there for about 15-20 minutes with a pillow under me to elevate my hips. My DH was like...  ! Hey it could of helped!!!

SOmething to do with the potential of flushing the swimmers out. I know they aren't in the 'same' area, but I've heard peeing reduces your chances.

in my first couple months of trying i was super anal about lifting up my hips, etc, but this month i'm just doing whatever...i figure that it probably doesn't matter too much given the fact that women get pregnant accidentally all the time...

This month I kept my knees at my chest with a pillow under my hips for a half hour after. I also went right to sleep usually so hopefully that helped. We shall see in 2 weeks!

i kept my pelvis elevated for 20-30 min (pillow under hips) and it worked!

i did the pillow thing too for about a 1/2 hour each time. And i drank grapefruit juice a few times after..I read somewhere that its good for something after you BD

OMG - with the UTIs and kidney infections I always get, I don't even relax when we are done - TMI and romantic, I know, but I get up immediately, pee, wash out the area, etc.....
Even after all that, I still got preggers....
