What do you do when the sound of a co-workers voice
makes you want to eat a bowl of glass? Seriously thats what Id rather be doing right now. I mean, I cant make my music loud all the time. She just moved offices right next to my cubicle so I cant avoid it. Its seriously worse than nails on a chalk board. HELP!

Ask for headphones. We had a few people in here that had them, but the music was low enough that they could answer their phones.

 I cant! I am constantly talking to several different people and walking around the office to get things done. I will have to get used to this I guess!

That is how I feel when I heard one of my co-workers laughing - she sounds more like she's cackling (sp?).

 I can totally sympathize!!!!!!!!! For 6 months I sat near a woman who was SO loud and was on personal calls all day long!
you will tune it out after a while, it just takes some time

I know exactly how you feel. My boss' laugh is like a wounded hyena and grates on my nerves sometimes. I want to shoot him and put him out of his misery!

Just want to give you and tell you tht I completely understand! I have one of the most annoying ppl next to me that doesn't know how to speak at a normal volume ever!
