What do you do when you have a "sour stomach"?
Last night from 9pm to 3am I had this constant aching, sometimes painfaul, aching in my stomach. It felt like "sour stomach" but nothing I did would make it go away - I tried pepcid, brioschi, maalox, rolaids, milk...nothing helped.
It actually felt like an ulcer. I finally fell asleep around 4am and when I woke up it was better. I'm still not sure if it was a stomach virus.
Anyway, how do you alleviate "sour stomach"? thanks!

Have you tried some peppermint or chamomile tea? or maybe some ginger?

Teaspoon of white vinegar. I know it sounds weird but it works. Also a pinch of baking soda in a half glass of water.
I was going to suggest those too but thought she'd think I was nuts!
gotta love my mom.. she swears by home remedies!

Peppermint helps if it's just a case of a sour or upset stomach.
I got the stomach virus on Wednesday, though, and I'm still green. 
ETA - a friend of mine also swears by ginger root tea.

An old remedy my grandmother always used was
Boil water with a few bay leaves in it, when it boils add sugar.
I remember as a kid it always helped.
it's funny the little things we remember
