Thanks - I did do that years ago and it worked. I am going to try it again. I need something to kick start my weight loss -- thank you!

Re: What do you do when your
Eat on a schedule and address the underlying issues behind your out of control eating.
Eating on a schedule (4 - 6 times a day, but smaller meals and snacks) seriously helps control hunger. If you have your meals planned out and the times you'll eat planned out, it will help you stay on track. Plus, eating so often helps keep the cravings away.
It's NOT easy, but it's doable and will get easier with time. This is something I seriously struggle with, too. FM me if you want a buddy to chat with! I have the same problem and would love someone to talk to!
Keeping a food journal helps a lot, too. I use www.fitday.com -- You can log all your food and activity there!

Re: What do you do when your
I honestly have to tell myself over and over, thats its just food and I dont HAVE to have it. I want it, but I need to eat healthy and lose the weight.
After the weight is lost, maybe I can splurge on junk food - its still goingto be available so for right now, in this moment, I cannot have it.
Its all a mind game
I also carry around a skinny pic of me and have one taped to my food cabinets. Although I dont really have jumk food in my house, I can get greedy with 100 calorie packs!

Re: What do you do when your
I try to exercise, it reduces my stress level which is usually why I want to overeat in the first place.
