What do you do when you're trying VERY HARD

to help someone, but she doesn't get it.

She doesn't see the big picture, doesn't see what everyone else sees. She's accusing you of having ulterior motives.

This is someone very very close to me, and she's going to flop right back into the bad comfort zone that she JUST managed to get herself out of. I'd do anything to stop it.

Its just so frustrating....I mean, where do you cross the line? Where do you stop the effort, throw your hands up, and say, "She'll learn when she gets hurt."??!?!

I have been in your situation many times Nic and there is only so much you can do...

No matter what you do or say..
That person is ONLY going to listen to themselves... They will ask u for your opinion and it just goes through one ear and out the other.. They really only go with their own feelings and its frustrating.. I am going through something very similar and something has just recently happened that made me more upset and angry at the situation. You either need to be there for them or if you can't, then cut your ties with them.. Good luck sweetie!!

Dh told me: You can't save a person from themselves.

I have since distanced my self from them, since they were making ME crazy.

Sometimes people just have to learn lessons the hard way. It's hard to convince someone of something if they don't want to be convinced.
