What do you do with your 2 year old when you take a shower..?
I usually put Seamus in his crib but he is starting to fight it
I have every Wednesday off so I am alone
I wish I culd leave him watching Toy story or Cars in the living room but it scares me. I thought maybe I can set up my Video monitor..He is gated in and cant get to anything, but Im not sure what else I can do

ds is not 2 but he is 19 months and the days that I need to take a shower when I'm alone I bring him in with me and let him play in the tub.

I either wake up early (usually it's too early!) and shower before I get him up for the day, or DH and I tag team taking showers.
I tried taking a shower at night and will occasionally, but I really need one in the morning.

Leave DD watching TV. Sometimes she does, other times she plays with her toys. I never worry - probably because at least once every 5 minutes she comes into the bathroom to see if I'm almost done.

I usually set her up with one of her favorite shows. (DVR & On Demand are lifesavers) and a snack. I leave the door open so I can listen for commotion.

I leave both or either of my kids (3 and 1.5) on my bed with milk and their fav show! My bathroom is attached to my bedroom so I lock the bedroom door and they can't go anywhere but the bedroom or the bathroom to check on me! =) They also have a basket of toys on the side of my bed for mommy shower time!

I'm a night bath type ... I have no energy in the morning to deal with my hair! ugh
But if im home or if its a weekend and I want a midday shower (i love hot showers! haha) then I will grab one if she's napping and in my bed. I won't let her sit in the living room with the TV, it would terrify me. 
Generally though I wait for hubby to 'cover' her.

I either show while she is sleeping (morning or nap time) or take her in with me. Many times I have the baby in her bouncy seat on the floor and my 2 year old in the shower with me.
