What do you do with your old cell phones?
I have a cell phone contract where if I sign for another 12 months, I get a brand new top of the line phone. So this leaves me with a dilemma, at least once a year I have a fairly newish old phone to find a home for. So I have given one old phone to my MIL, and another to a friend, so this leaves me with one phone in pretty good condition that I want to get rid of.
So this is my question, what do you do with your old cell phones?
This time I am going to sell it online to a company that buys them and sells them in the middle east/africa. For the phone I have to get rid of (Sony W850i) they will give me up to £25 (thats like $40)

I never thought about selling them. I donate the older models but save my latest one for when DH drops/loses/washes his phone (which happens every year or so).

My mom works for a senior citizens center and they take donations. The seniors get a 911 emergency plan with the used phone.

You can donate them to battered woman shelters. They are able to use the phone to dial 911 in an emergency.

I donate them. They collect them at our local shipping place and then from them are able to send calling cards to the troops.
