What do you ladies do to add flavor to cooked carrotts?
I am making cutlets tonight for dinner and have a can of cooked carrots in the house. What can I put on them to make them a little tastier?

I don't make carrots often because DH doesn't like them. But I may add, some honey, or brown sugar.

Take a can of chicken stock (broth) & cut REAL carrots (not baby) the real ones have better taste, Boil them in the broth, then add two teaspoons of butter until it melts away in the broth _____ then serve. They come out amazing!!! Don't boil them in water...just use the broth.

Re: What do you ladies do to add flavor to cooked carrotts?
Best Carrot recipe ever!-- I love when DH makes this
Carrots in Beer and Dill
1 lb. carrots, peeled and cut into small sticks (or you can use the baby carrots in a bag...not the tiny ones but the regular baby ones)
1 tablespoon butter (no substitute)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon dill weed
1/2 bottle beer
Sauté carrots in the butter until barely brown. Add beer and dill; cook slowly for 15 minutes. Carrots should be crisp/tender
Add salt and sugar and continue to cook for another 3 minutes. Serve hot.
