What do you prefer in sneakers-lace up or velcro?
I've always gotten velcro, but I do like some of the styles of lace up sneakers, I just worry about it being a total pain.

I like the style of lace up, but I use velcro because it seems easier.
However, I think I need to switch my son (20 months) to laces because he constantly takes his shoes off

DS is 22 months and I will only use Velcro for now. Do not want to deal with the laces becoming untied (either by his own doing or by accident) or him tripping.
Some lace-up styles are definitely really adorable!

Totally velcro over here. I tried getting DS a pair of lace up sneakers... it was such a PITA!

We have/had both. I like the lace up, I feel like they fit more snug than velcro and if we double knot them she can't get them untied. I like velcro too but she knows how to do velcro so she can get her shoes off, but I just got her a pair of velcro puma's which were just too cute to pass up.

Velcro. I tried getting laces and they would just constantly untie them. Plus I'd like them to start learning how to put on their own shoes, and that will be easier for them with velcro. They aren't ready yet to lean how to tie laces.

Personally I prefer velcro right now because they're just so easy to get on and off... but that's part of the issue. DS knows how to unstrap the velcro and sometimes takes his shoes off in the car, lol. I'm just hoping he doesn't do it when he's in the stroller and I don't notice.
I did get him a pair of lace sneakers for the winter because they only came in lace form.

I got all the way to the car at Tanger DP before I realized DS had no shoes on. I had to walk all the way back to the Gap

I like the styles of lace up but they are not practical. So I won't waste the money.
